Bernat Klein Fellowships 2025
We are delighted to announce that our two new Bernat Klein Fellows, Mariam Syed (Scotland) and Moira Nilsson (Sweden), will start their residencies in mid February completing by the end of April. A short-film will capture their experience and reflections of exploring Bernat Klein’s legacy through their individualistic approaches to contemporary practice and processes.
Cove Park Fellowships
In partnership with the Cove Park and Konstfack University of the Arts, Craft, and Design, Stockholm, we are delighted to launch a new Fellowship programme for textile designers and textile artists.
In 2025, two Fellowships will be awarded to established textile designers / textile artists based in Scotland and in Sweden. The Fellowships are fully funded and include residencies, the opportunity for supported research including access to the national Bernat Klein archive collections in Scotland, and the support required for the development of new work.

Graphical House created a new, strategically focussed brand to help express Klein’s vision of design, colour and creative practice as it continues to inspire.

Bernat Klein: Influence & Inspiration
The name Bernat Klein has become synonymous with twentieth-century style and flair, and to mark his centenary three interrelated exhibitions are taking place across Scotland – in Glasgow at the Studio Pavilion and House for an Art Lover – and in the Scottish Borders at Borders Textile Towerhouse.
