Colour, Texture & Destination
This film was commissioned as part of the Colour, Texture & Destination exhibition at Borders Textile Towerhouse from June – December 2021.
The exhibition includes the work of Fashion Communication and Design for Textiles students alongside a selection of original Bernat Klein garments and textile designs. Kestin Hare contributed examples of his Klein inspired collection ‘High Sunderland’, after Klein’s modernist house in the Scottish Borders. This short film by Borders film-maker, Ruidi Collins illustrates how the work of Klein has been celebrated, remembered and re-contextualised throughout the project.
